Wow, the weather the last 3 days have been quite a change from the normal. Our highs have only been in the low 50's which is about 15 degrees below normal and the lows have been in the mid 30's. Couple that with 15-20mph winds, and it has just been down right cold. Thank goodness we will be getting back to normal temps by the middle of this week. I'm wondering if this little cold snap has bumped up the peak leaf colors from the 3rd week of October to the second week of October.

The third week of august, rpm group is liquidating the rest of the community known as Bridgecreek. I would say it's one of those dealers where buyers should be aware, and do some homework before purchasing a lot. I would advise you to speak to a local realtor in the cashiers nc market to get a better idea of that community and market pricing.
The annual leaf festival for the Cashiers and Lake Glenville NC area is coming up next week. The dates will be October 7 and 8. There will be all kinds of activities including boat rides provided by Signal Ridge Marina.
It's been an interesting year so far with respect to lake front sales on lake glenville. So far we have had more lake front lots sell then we have had in the last 4 years. Lake front home sales have been a little slower this year compared to 2010.
There is going to be a lot liquidation sale at the cascades at cedar creek in glenville, nc this saturday the 24th. You will need an appointment to get a tour and pick a lot.
Good News. The Cashiers, NC Farmers Market at the intersection of 107/64, no have pumpkins in stock. I have noticed they are about 2 weeks earlier this year than last.
The weather for the cashiers, highlands lake glenville, nc area this week has been unseasonably cool. Our highs have been in the uppper 50's and the lows have been in the upper 40's. This is about 5-10 degrees below our normal temps for this time of the year. The weather is more like october temps.
